Summit Wins National ENR Award for Gormley Sculpture

Summit Metal fabricators wins National ENR Award

Summit Metal Fabricators (SMF) has been recognized as a Best of the Best National Award recipient in the Specialty Construction Category by the Engineering News Record (ENR) for its outstanding fabrication and installation of the 56 foot high Antony Gormley Sculpture CHORD in the stairwell of the Mathematics building at MIT in Cambridge, MA.  

The ENR national award spotlights the pinnacle of design and construction achievement across the entire U.S.  More than 700 industry project teams submitted their work to the Best Projects regional competitions, of which only 20 were chosen as national award winners. Congratulations to the Summit Team for receiving this prestigious national award.
